March is National Women’s History Month and to celebrate, The Oakland Press is looking to give voice to women across the county.Throughout the month, we’ll be asking women from different industries and walks of life to explore what it means to them to be a woman in this day and age- professionally and personally.
Q: What is your industry and job title? How long have you been in the industry?
A: I am in the Information Technology industry. At this time, I am the Co-Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer of a local IT company, ardentCause L3C, where we provide database products and services for the nonprofit sector. I have been in IT since 1983, as a computer engineer, an inventor of computer products and solutions, a division leader of a very large computer company, Sun Microsystems, and now co-owner of a local software company.
I am also now running for the Michigan Senate, District 12.
